Star Island report — October 6, 2011

The recent remarkable fallout of southern migrants on the back of the consistent wet southerlies still persisted on Thursday, but mixed with a large influx of more traditional cold weather October migrants, yielding a great day on Star with some unusual juxtapositions (summer tanager and worm-eating warbler while lapland longspur flies overhead). I will have a trip going next week (today I hopped a private boat), maximum 5 people at $55 pp. Date to be decided based on weather.
