Skimmer run

Given the incredible number of skimmers being seen on Plum and Cranes Beach (in excess of 20 birds), I figured I had a decent chance of getting one on the NH coast today. Skimmer in NH is a real blocker, and I am one of the few who hasn’t seen one yet in the Granite State this summer. Alas, it was a late summer dip for me, although I did manage to catch up with Jason Lambert’s little gull, a real cracker of a bird. Also woody the lubagug (pictured), a couple of Forster’s terns, and a whimbrel and Am. golden plover in Hampton.
