Birders:
Just in time for the big day on Pack, a friend forwarded an email, from which I excerpted:
“………………during the 3 hours I was there a pair of hawks repeatedly flew over. They clearly seemed like they were working together. My hawk ID skills are still minimal so I’m forwarding a few photos to you for help, with photos attached for ID confirmation. ”
I checked with a few hawk gurus and we all agreed on ID. Let me know your thoughts and first one out of the hat wins a place on any of trips listed, Cashes Ledge this October excepted (click on Birding Trips 2010 – Spring 2011 tab at top of page). One entry per person (no hawk gurus please!).
