Pink-footed Goose, Walpole, NH on April 2, 2011.

I am getting the word out (NH.Birds is down) on a pink-footed goose (state first) found by Taj Schottland in Walpole this am. In Vic Malnati’s farm in Walpole, NH across from the Agway.

Seen by many today despite the lack of listserv. My fifth species of goose for this field this spring alone (Canada, Snow, Cackling, Greater White-fronted) and my 22nd species of waterfowl for the CT valley. Congrats to Taj and Don for finding NH’s first.
