The recent remarkable fallout of southern migrants on the back of the consistent wet southerlies still persisted on Thursday, but mixed with a large influx of more traditional cold weather October migrants, yielding a great day on Star with some unusual juxtapositions (summer tanager and worm-eating warbler while lapland longspur flies overhead).
